Not sure what to say?

There are so many words to say but none that truly describe uncle menville, hes made an impact on so many

Ivan and I will miss you you rest in peace my dear friend love you love you love you

R.I P. Captain. I will miss your voice on the radio......

I ALWAYS enjoyed Menville's company and slept soundly when he was on watch.

I truly enjoyed being Menville’s Chief Engineer. He was a wonderful boat handler and a lot of fun to work with.

I was blessed to have known you Uncle Melville. Rest easy. Forever in the hearts of my lil family.

Menville, you was like a big brother to me.I was so hurt to hear about your passing.God don't give us a number. But you You have help and give your shirt off your back. You love everyone from your Kids, Families, Friends and you never meet a Strangers. Anyone you wanted to touch with a Blessing.I know you got your Wings to Heaven. I will miss you so much. Your Smile, jokes,Kindness. There will be only One Menville but you will always be in my Heart.Love You,Love You.

My condolences to Miss Shirley and the family. Capt. Menville really was a sort of legendary figure among the river pilot community. Myself and all of our generation of especially Lower river pilots can hardly imagine our careers without his friendship and mentorship. Rest In Peace, old friend. We’ll see you by and by.

Good friend and co worker
