John Gregory Whitehurst III

John Gregory Whitehurst III passed away on August 12, 2016. John was born in Houston, Texas on November 21, 1941. He graduated from Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas. John served in the Army during the early 1960’s, and was stationed in Germany during that time. After leaving the Army, John worked as a repair technician for office equipment. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, and relaxing at the family beach house in Surfside. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Lamb Whitehurst, and his father John Whitehurst, Jr. He is survived by his sister Judy Whitehurst and his brother Pat Whitehurst.
