Services for Luther Richardson, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Brother Kurt Ryder, officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Richardson, 69, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Church of Christ, Pineville. He worked as a plumber during his working years. Mr. Richardson was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Richardson, Sr. & Maudie L. Cheek Richardson; sister, Addie Henry; brothers-in-law, Fred Howell, L. B. Henry. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Gary Richardson & wife Cecila of Dry Prong, Kerry Richardson & wife Ashley of Dry Prong, John Richardson & Misty Dauzat of Deville; daughter, Nicole Layfield & Bill Bailey of Deville; sisters, Joyce Richardson Sasser & husband Cecil of Pineville, Irma Howell of Pineville; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Manuel Henry, Rodney Henry, Gary Cole Richardson, Shawn Ponthieux, Jack Lott, Bill Bailey.
