Mrs.Eva Mae Robinson Rutherford,76 Of 12068 US Highway 176, Pomaria, SC entered into Eternal Rest at Newberry Memorial Hospital, on Friday, January 30, 2015. Mrs.Eva Mae Robinson Rutherford was born September 29, 1938, in Newberry County to the late Mr. Arthur James Robinson and the late Mrs. Verniea Boyd Robinson. She was a member of Saint Mark AME Church in Pomaria, SC and formerly served as Financial Secretary and a member Missionary Society. She was also a member of Home Benefit # 7 and the Woman's Home Aid Society. She was employed by Allied Chemical and Newberry County Department of Social Services for many tears. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Copeland Rutherford,her brother James A. Robinson and her sisters Sylvia R. Sims and Darlene Robinson Capers. Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her son, Mr. Johnnie Calvin Rutherford (Carolyn) of Newberry, SC; grandsons, Mr. Kalvin Mandrell Sims reared in the home, Mr. Matrice Sims, Mr. Javonta La John Rutherford and Mr. Obadiah Theodore Rutherford, all of Newberry, SC; 3 great-grandchildren ; a sister, Miss. Brenda Jean Robinson of Pomaria, SC; 9 sisters-in-law; 9 brothers-in-law a host of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services, and burial will be conducted, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Saint Mark AME Church. (Viewing, One hour prior to the service)
