Patrick Randall "Bush" Kyle, Sr. 57, of Monessen, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Latrobe Hospital. He was born July 3, 1956 in Charleroi, the son of the late Ronald Albert "Sparky" Kyle, Sr. and Thelma Mae Helterbran Kyle.While Pat was in high school, he was a manager at the Arco Station in Brownsville. He graduated in 1974 from Brownsville High School and was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He was very proud that his family members have served our country in every war from the Revolutionary to Iraq Freedom. Pat was an electrician and had designed and bulit many homes all over the Mon Valley area. His last place of employment, prior to his illness, was at Jimmy G's Remodeling in Carroll Township. He enjoyed fishing, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, watching the military channel and cemetery walking with his brother, searching for geneology. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Becky Lyda Kyle; son, Patrick Randall Kyle, II and wife Lindsey of Johnstown; two step sons, Brandon Lyda and girlfriend Teresa of Charleroi, Tory Wefler of Donora; five grandchildren, Adam, Patrick III and Julia Kyle, Xavier Teets, Kristan Gamble; three sisters and four brothers, Patricia Spalding and husband Joe of Old Town, MD, Ronald Kyle, Jr. of New Eagle, Susan Miller and husband Jerry of Front Royal, VA, Timmy Kyle and wife Carol of Charleroi, Paul Kyle and wife Debbie of Vanderbilt, Sherrilynn Lucas of Johnston, David Lucas and wife Kathy of Flintstone, MD; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Margaret Frieda Young Kyle; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Beulah Williams Helterbran; two nephews, Joseph Kyle, Justin Dilley and a niece, Shelly Murphy.Friends will be received on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Monongahela Cemetery.
