Richard's Obituary
Richard Dean Turner, Sr., 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Patsy Turner (nee Byers) for 58 years; loving father of Richard D. Turner, Jr. and Sandra Lynn Turner-Neher, DVM and husband Lynn; cherished grandfather of Nicole Neher.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. and Cora Mae Turner (nee Schmitz).
Richard graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia with a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Conservation and loved hunting and fishing. His other hobbies included golfing and bowling. He worked for the US Food and Drug Administration for 38 years.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hwy K, O’Fallon, MO.
