Fofo was a good friend of ours. It is true that "he never met a stranger," because he had a very special way of setting everyone at ease. Fofo made you feel like you had known him all of your life...even if you had just met.
David (my husband) and I were friends with Fofo during our first years of marriage. He and his wife would double date with us. We sometimes also planned trips with a third couple. The six of us traveled to Cancun one year, rented a car, and for a long while...

Dear Martha and Fofo's family, Jr and I were extremely saddened to hear of Fofo's passing. Jr has wonderful memories of growing up with Fofo, and I remember our going to your home to meet your firstborn daughter. Fofo sold our house on Lyon when we moved to New Mexico.
