Roy C. Womach, Jr.

DURHAM: Roy C. Womack, Jr., 79, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Hock Family Pavilion. He was born in Durham, the son of the late Roy Clyde Womack, Sr. and the late Louise Smith Womack. He retired from GTE Data Services after 35 years. He was preceded in the death by his sister, Lynda Carden and brothers, John, Andrew and Ted Womack.Mr. Womack is survived by his wife, Delaine Womack; daughter, Dena Renee Womack; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Renee Womack; son, Michael Ray Tillman; and half-brother, Hester Womack.A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham with Rev. Norman Gordon and Rev. Rob Womack officiating. Burial will follow in the Northern Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Clements Funeral Home.Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions for the education of his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Womack, 2607 Richwood Rd, Durham, NC 27705.
