Sue was a dear friend and co-worker. She was always full of laughter. Sue was so proud of her grandson Benjiman. We would share grandma stories and photos. I will miss her dearly. So for your loss

Susan's Obituary

Susan M. Sabourin of West Bend died on Friday, September 28, 2012 at The Kathy Hospice at the age of 55 years. She was born on November 23, 1956 in Milwaukee to the late Arnold and Mary (nee Kohn) Wendt.The family lived in Racine, where she attended local schools, graduating from Case High School with the Class of 1974. As a young adult, Sue moved to West Bend. On December 30, 1981, she was united in marriage to Richard A. Sabourin.Sue worked at Weiland's Recreation as a bartender. She later worked at Serigraph, Inc. as a point person, retiring in January, 2012 to spend more time with her family. She enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer games with family and friends.Survivors include her husband Richard; 2 children Derek of West Bend and Marni (Andy) Seiser of Oshkosh; her cherished grandson Benjamin Seiser; 3 brothers Tom (Fran) Wendt of Racine, Richard Wendt of Franklin, TN, Daniel (Elizabeth) Wendt of Racine; 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law Julie (Tom) Krenn of West Bend, Michele Sabourin and John Sabourin in Dayton, OH; other relatives and friends.A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 1 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with private burial following.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Lawrence Gill and his staff, Dr. Colin Mooney, the staff at the Kramer Cancer Center and the staff at The Kathy Hospice for their caring and support.The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
