Thomas F. Conway, 72, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 2 in Ballston Spa, NY.
Tom was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and raised in Harrisburg by his parents Thomas and Mary Conway. He was a 1965 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. He was a project manager for The A. G. Mauro Company, a distributor of architectural doors and hardware. In addition to playing slow pitch softball himself for several years, Tom was an active supporter of youth sports, particularly those involving his daughters. He served for many years as a coach for Lakevue Recreation Association in suburban Harrisburg, and as an ASA umpire for girls softball. He instilled teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship in every child that he coached. He was a passionate New York Yankees fan and loved to attend games as often as he could.
Tom is survived by two daughters, Kelsey Pace (Joseph) of Lincoln Park, NJ, and Kerri of Shiremanstown, PA; one grandson, Weston; one sister, Sheila Lindsay, of Gansevoort, NY, three nieces, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff, Inc. Funeral Home, is handling cremation. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Tom's life at 5 p.m., June 1, at Firehouse Restaurant, 606 North Second St., Harrisburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate to their local youth sports organization in his memory.

Life wont be the same without you Dad. But youve given me the strength and humor and hopefully a few parenting skills Ill need to go on and raise your grandchild while you watch over and protect us. You were the best dad I couldve ever asked for because you showed me nothing but unconditional love, support, and encouragement. We miss you terribly, and hope we continue to make you proud. Love you always, Kelsey
