Nancy L Horwath Battle Creek Nancy L Horwath, 67, of Battle Creek, died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Battle Creek Health System in Battle Creek. She was born October 12, 1942 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Roger and Phyllis E. (Packham) McGrew. Nancy had been employed by the Ritzee, Top Hat Jr. and Speeds Restaurants. She married Michael J. Horwath Sr. on December 28, 1958 in Corona. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Horwath; daughters: Shelly (Craig) Wiegand, and Pamela (Chris) Phelps, both of Battle Creek; a son, Michael J Horwath Jr. of Hickory Corners; sisters: BethAnn Fletcher, of Nashville, MI, Jackie (Mark) Hicks, of Battle Creek; brothers: Jimmy McGrew, of Battle Creek; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger McGrew; her mother, Phyllis Packham; her sister, Judy Millsap; and her brother, Roger McGrew. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Monday from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m. at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd., with Rev. George Gay of the Maple Grove Bible Church officiating. Burial will be at the Bedford Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association of Michigan.
