Robert Long Obituary

Robert "Uncle B" G. Long Battle Creek Robert "Uncle B" G. Long, age 65, passed away suddenly, Saturday November 20, 2010 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. He was born July 4, 1945 in Chicago IL. Robert had served in the US Army during Vietnam. Robert enjoyed fishing, golf and woodworking, especially making clocks with the incentive therapy program at the VA Medical Center. Robert is survived by three sisters, Barbara (Arthur) Lord of Battle Creek, Patricia Long of Western Springs, IL, and Ann (Scott) Reyna of Joliet, IL; five nieces and nephews; three great nephews and niece. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow with military honors at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Legion Villa. Please visit www.bachmanhebble.com.
