Mary, Joanie and Family:

Sadly, I never had a chance to meet your mom. I can, however, say I have reason to love her and that I am certainly thankful to her for the gift of both of you. The years we spent together as "family" (before you Joanie returned to Michigan and you Mary took off for Oklahoma)is a memory which never fades and can always put a smile on my face as well as in my heart!

So, dear Dora, God's speed. Live well among the angels. And rest easy with the knowledge that you have left your family well-equipped to carry out your legacy of love and caring and sharing. They are in fact very good at it!

With love and deepest sympathy,
Chris Albrecht

Losing Aunt Dora is a tough one indeed. She was like a second mother, always there when needed. There is now a hole in my life where she used to be. My husband, Steve, and I had planned on coming in January for a nice visit with her and Frank and any of the cousins that might be in the area. It seems we waited too long. Frank and family, we are so sorry we didn't get back sooner. Your loss is our loss, too. All our love to you.

Thank you, Aunt Dora, for always being there for us. Bobbie, Mike, Terry, Kathy and I will never forget how you took care of our mom and dad at the end of their lives and how you took care of us afterwards. I will never forget how you went through Colleen's senior picture proofs with her because her grandmother was no longer with us. That act of kindness, so typical of you, meant a lot to both of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Frank and our cousins during this difficult time.

Ben, Frank, Mary, Ted, to all of the Morales family. Your Mother was the center of your world, a pillar of our community, and your entire family has been an important part of our entire lives, of mine, at least. My heart and prayers go out to you. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You were truly blessed to have her as your compass through life, and each other to continue to honor her memory. Heaven gained an angel. Hang on to all she taught you, especially her love.

Dora was a patient of mine for just a short little time, but in that time I realized two very important things about her. 1. she was fiesty, if she had something to say she said it. and 2. she held her beliefs very strongly. She was an amazing woman. I know that she is resting peacefully in gods loving arms. To Frank and the remaining family I am so sorry for your loss, she was truely incredible. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

November 9, 2010

Frank and family,

Prayers are sent your way to help you cope during this difficult time. I remember you from high school as a kind and gentle person. May God guide you in the days to come. And, know that your memories will never die.

With Sympathy,

I cannot possibly convey how much it hurts to lose the beacon my Aunt Dora has been to me. She was such an incredibly devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the bedrock for her entire extended family. I cannot now express the depth of my loss. I can only be consoled by the feeling that the world is now blessed by one more angel. Uncle Frank, Lydia, Ben, Mary, Frank, Diana, Anna, Trisha, Ted, Angela, Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. May God help you and guide you through this difficult time.
