Hello Tom.
It was such a blessing to have known you and Dorothy for the years that I did. I will always remember her having a piece of candy to give to me after I got her stuck on some cream flavored candies. It was always a joy being around you both and I always enjoyed the time we spent together. I am so sorry for your loss, I know how very close you two were and how you liked so many of the same things. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family at this very difficult time. Take joy in knowing you will see Dorothy again!

Hello Tom, I have so many good memories of the years that we all worked together at Kellogg's S&T. It was so nice to see you both a few weeks ago when we bumped into each at the store. I will cherish the thought of seeing Dorothy one last time. Time has a way of slipping through our fingers, I share your faith and know that Dorothy is with Jesus, how exciting is that! Love, Eileen (Moore) Casebeer

Dear Tom,

I know nothing can change your heartfelt pain and sorrow at this moment..

I lost my fiance shortly before our wedding back in 1986 and I still grieve for her, so I can only imagine the pain and feelings of loss for someone you have loved and lived with for over 18 years.

I know that you and Dorothy hardly knew me, but I could easily see the love between the both of you and that she was a wonderful person with a loving husband.

I'm sure that you've heard this a thousand times by now, but I truly believe that she is in a better place and that in time you will meet with her again in that better place. I know that you will always keep her memory in your heart and thoughts while on this earth. Just remember that even though she is no longer here in this physical plane of existence, she will be with you in spirit in those memories and every time that you think of her.

I hope that you can find some comfort in these words.

I also want you to know that if you need help with any work around the house, any repairs that need to be done, someone to clean Thumpers litter box or to lovingly take care of Thumper if you need time alone or away, or just someone to be with and talk about anything during the difficult time ahead or any other time, I am available 24/7 with no obligation to you; and I truly mean that.

After my loss, I nearly followed her from this earth through my own doings because I was alone, living in Texas, and a long way from home in Michigan. I honestly owe my life to a caring friend and a Siamese kitten that he and his girlfriend gave me; so I know how important it is to have someone to talk to - human or animal, especially in the weeks that follow when people stop calling or checking up on you as often and you are left alone with just you and your thoughts. So I'm serious when I say call me if you need a friend or a helping hand. My phone number is 788-0278. Don't be afraid to use it. Since I'm on disability and don't have a regular job, you can call me anytime, day or night, 3pm or 3am and I truly mean that.

Sincerely,
John Carson
