I did my student teaching with Mr. Holcomb in 1975. I'm sure I didn't impress him much with my lack of skill, but he was always patient and willing to give me new ideas. I always meant to to catch up with him sometime and let him know I survived 25 years in the classroom.

Heaven welcomes home a very faithful man.
I am sure I am not alone in my respect and admiration for Mr. Holcomb. He was a great influence in many areas of my young life, from being hands down the BEST Scout Master I ever knew, and tremendously gifted teacher. But mainly because he was giving testimony to Jesus Christ, and God the Father!
We need more men like him!
My prayer that Our Lord shall fill your hearts with Grace and Peace thru this time of loss.
I know, as do many, we SHALL see Earl again someday in glory land - Praise God!
