Franklin Lutz Obituary

Franklin George Lutz Ceresco Franklin George Lutz, age 91, of Ceresco died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Clare Bridge Adult Care Facility in Battle Creek. Mr. Lutz was born on December 25, 1918 in Ceresco to George and Belle W. (Maisner) Lutz. He was a life long resident of this area. He had been employed by the Kellogg Company for 31 years, retiring in 1982. On March 1949, he married the former Darlene G. Richmond in Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 28, 1983. His family was always a familiar sight at the county fairs, training and racing horses. He is survived by daughters, Judy E. Lutz of Battle Creek and Suzanne Bailey of Coldwater; step-daughter, Annette Shulters of Pontiac; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John Lutz, step-son, Gerald E. Auburn; grandson, Frankie Lee Lutz; sister, Ella Frost and brothers, Ray Lutz and Earl Lutz. The family will receive on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Marshall. A funeral service will held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials are to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care.
