Through her volunteer work, assisting the children at Franklin Elementary School for many years, she was the recipient of the 2000 JC Pennny Golden Rule Award. She was active with her church, her book club and she was a member of the Alpha Phi Beta Eta Chi Chapter business sorority. Gloria traveled extensively and enjoyed many events with her family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Dear Mark & Paul -
She was my favorite Aunt, you know. Just full of fun, love, energy, mischief, care and concern. So centered on all the other people in her life rather than herself. I will cherish all my memories of Aunt Gloria, and only regret not visiting more often. I will also miss her newsy Christmas cards, full of her love and praise for you and the grandkids. Take good care and please accept my deepest sympathies.

Paul, Mark-
I'm so sorry to have heard the sad news of Gloria's passing. I will miss the visits with Glo, every time I'd ventured home. There are many who'd agree, she will be missed and that the world just became a little less friendly without her.

Aunt Gloria created wonderful memories for us! From her daffodil wallpaper to convincing our parents we could watch a PG movie without rotting our brains, stops to see "Aunt Glo" were the highlight of every Easter trip. She was a truly GREAT aunt.

I am so sorry to hear of the passisng of Gloria. I always looked forward to those Sunday mornings that she would slip in the pew beside me at St. Joseph and grab and hug me. She was a wonderful life long friend of my mother, Katie Pallett. What a warm, kind person that will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her.
