I remember my Uncle Laverne in many ways. As a young boy living in Michigan in Saint Johns, Michigan. Then the last time I saw him was at my Father's funeral. He was a good man and good cook, just like my father.

Hi Tanya-
My mom called me today to let me know about your dad. So sorry to hear of your loss. I'm occasionally in Marshall and would love to catch up with you one of these days.
Take care - you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Many memories come to mind as I think of Vern, and the many years he was a part of business with Pat and I. Fond memories of a gentle, dear man who directed the kitchens of several restaurants in the Battle Creek, Marshall,& Albion areas. My prayers for the family. Rhody Belt
