Leonard Schumacher Obituary

Leonard V. Schumacher Evensville, TN Leonard Vernon Schumacher, 77, of Evensville, TN, died November 20, 2010, at Etowah Health Care Center, Etowah, TN. He was born February 2, 1933, in Black River Falls, WI, to Vernon and LuVern Schumacher. He was in the US Navy during the Korean War, serving on the USS Albany. He was a member of the Graysville Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, automotive repair and traveling. He married Helen Paradine on November 29th, 1959. She survives. Surviving are his wife, Helen of Evensville, TN; sons, Larry Meddaugh of Granton, WI, Loren (Kay) Meddaugh of Eagle River, AK, Tony (Denise) Schumacher of Battle Creek, MI, Wayne (Patty) Schumacher of Kodak, TN; two brothers, Edwin Schumacher of Green Bay, WI, Larry Schumacher of Granton, WI; a sister, Valaria (Carl) Fisher of Manitowoc, WI; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Schumacher of Neillsville, WI; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and LuVern Schumacher, and a son, Eugene Roy Schumacher. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 27th, 2010, 3:00 p.m. at the Graysville Seventh Day Adventist Church in Graysville, TN.
