Margaret Randall Obituary

Margaret A. Randall Battle Creek Margaret A. Randall, age 71, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Holland Hospital. Margaret was born in Battle Creek, March 28, 1939, to Fahm and Dorothy Mahmet. She participated in the Battle Creek Civic Theatre in the late 50's. Margaret was a devoted mother and grandmother. She volunteered as both girl scout and boy scout leader in the 70's and enjoyed travelling to visit family and friends. She retired as a secretary for Battle Creek Public Schools in 2005. Surviving are her children, Heidi Randall, of Holland, Tony (Mandy) Randall, of Fulton, and Nathan (Nicole) Randall, of Baroda; Grandchildren, Madison, Lauren, and Taylor Auby, and Shane and Shelby Randall; siblings, Larry Mahmat, Ruby Edwards, Dee Dee Wise, and Buzzy (Fahm Jr.) Mahmet; nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at First Congregational Church in The Courtyard, 145 Capital Avenue NE, Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Margaret A. Randall Fund at the Battle Creek Community Foundation, One Riverwalk Centre, 34 West Jackson Street, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3505. www.lakeshorememorial.com

It was with sadness when learning of my sister-in-laws passing. She was a shining light to her friends and family and I will always remember her radiant smile. Even though we hadn't talked in some time, she was never forgotten.
