I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Skidmore was my Post Elementary school principal. I valued her time that she took as an educator, without her and her work I might not be the person I am today

Margaret, Gary and I went to BC Central and graduted in 1951. I hate losing friends and classmates. This was to have been our 60th high school Reunion in 2011, and I was looking forward to seeing Margaret. My sympathy goes out to Gary and their family. Allow your love and the memories you have of life with Margaret to help you heal. She will always be a part of your Memory Bank. She has left a lovely legacy in so many areas. Margaret was principal when my daughter Laura Street was at Roosevelt School and I remember the fact she ALWAYS made every one that walked threw the doors of the school feel like family and if the need was to cuddle a child she would take the time to nuture each and every one.She has made a lasting impression in our lives and was thought of often in our hearts. Battle Creek has lost a GREAT educator that never seemed to matter to her- it was the children she thought most of first and formost. GOD SPEED and I will always keep you in my heart. Please know you now have a SPECIAL angel watching over you and she will always be in a special place to a LOT OF PEOPLE and Thank YOU for sharing such a wonderful and caring person.
