Genevieve Gorzinski Obituary

Gorzinski, Genevieve 4/25/1917 - 3/12/2015 Auburn, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Gorzinski in 2002. Surviving are two sons, Stanley (Judith) Gorzinski and Walter Gorzinski, and two daughters, Dr. Mary (Boyd) Boettger and Judy Holman, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and two step sisters; Peggy Schmidt and Bernadine Hetherington. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Prince of Peace Parish St. Valentine Church, 999 S. Nine Mile Rd. in Kawkawlin. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. T.J. Fleming and Deacon Michael Arnold with the Rite of Committal following in St. Valentine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Gorzinski will lie instate at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning on expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
