Dr. Jan F. Butchee

Dr. Jan F. Butchee, 61, of College Station, and formerly of Buna, Texas, died February 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearline Butchee; her niece, Heather Butchee; and her grandmother Mary Granny Butchee. Survivors include her father, Wayne Butchee and wife, Charlene; a brother, Lamar Butchee and wife, Sharlina; a niece, Jade Butchee; nephews, Justin Butchee, Cody Butchee, Dillon Butchee, Dalton Butchee; two great nieces; two great nephews; and her companions, Bentley, the Scottish Terrier and Kuhn, a Lhasa Apso. Serving as pallbearers are Dillon Butchee, Dalton Butchee, Justin Butchee, Cody Butchee, Henry McGalin, Herky Thornton, and Dickie Reeves. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4th, 2012, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum 54312, in Port Arthur. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3rd, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Officiating will be Dr. David Mahfouz, pastor of First Baptist Church in Port Neches, and Bro. Delbert Milstead, pastor of Central Baptist Church in Buna. Dr. Jan Butchee was a physician at Women's Clinic, at Texas A&M University in College Station, for the past fifteen years. Pryor to this, she was in general practice in Buna, Texas. Prior to becoming a physician, she was a ASCP Medical Technologist at Wilcox Laboratory in Beaumont, Texas, and John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas.
