Preston Mallett

Preston Mallett, age 65, of Mont Belvieu, Texas, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 20, 2012, at home, with his devoted wife and family at his side, after a tedious battle with lung cancer. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of 27 years, Odelia Mallett of Mt. Belvieu, Texas; one daughter, Tina Mallett of Houston, Texas; one granddaughter, Dora Shuvonda Mallett of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandson, Preston Clyde Ross of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Louise Donato (Marion) of McNair, Texas, Betty Maxey of Texas City, Texas, Loretta Ward of McNair, Texas, and Linda Smith (Joe) of Houston, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Gustavia Mallett; two brothers, Ricky and Earl Mallett, Jr. Services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Mount Zion Baptist Church #2, 923 County Road 133 North, Moss Bluff, Texas. The viewing will be from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
