Annie Borel Obituary

1923 - 2014 Annie Lee Borel, 91, of Orange died October 8th 2014 peacefully at home with family. Born in Orange, Texas May 11, 1923, to Mack Isaac McLelland Trussell and Sarah Easter Poole Trussell. Mrs. Borel has lived in Orange her entire life. She was a homemaker, wife and one of the most wonderful mothers ever. She loved growing vegetables and flowers and she was always singing and smiling. She is the last surviving child of twenty-one children. Preceded in death by Louis Albert Borel, husband and sons Arnold Borel and Vernon Borel. Survivors include Arthur and Marie Borel, Danney and Shelley Borel, Delores and Bruce Skinner, Ricky and Bonnie Borel, Bobby and Gwen Borel, Nancy and Jeff Matthews, and Albert Borel. 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Douglas Borel, Andy Borel, Eric Borel, Charles Matthews, Ricky Borel Jr. and Derek Borel, honorary pallbearer Austin Borel. Services will be held at Claybar Funeral Home on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Ronnie Hennigan. Burial will be at Hillcrest cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. We would like to thank Southeast Texas Hospice and Quality Care Services for all there help and support. For those who wish, memorials may be made to New Anointing Full Gospel Outreach in Orange.
