Lula Marie Larcade

1937 - 2015 Lula Marie Larcade, age 78, passed away at St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont, Texas, on November 12, 2015. She was born on June 27, 1937, in Port Arthur, Texas to Mary Marie and Robert C. Hancock Sr. Lou was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1955. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her happiest times were spent enjoying the company of family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed raising flowers in her backyard garden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Henry Larcade Jr., her parents, and her younger brother Glen Hancock. Survivors include her three sons: Andy Larcade and his wife Stephanie of Fannett, Danny Larcade and his wife Michele of Port Arthur, and Chris Larcade and his wife Molly of Port Arthur. Surviving grandchildren include Amy McCrary and husband Jimmy of Corpus Christi, Michael Larcade of San Antonio, Daniel Larcade and wife Teresa of Port Arthur, Alex Larcade of Fort Worth, Will Larcade of Port Arthur, and Ashlyn Larcade of Beaumont. Great grandchildren include Dominic Larcade of Port Arthur, Eliza McCrary of Corpus Christi, and Jed McCrary of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by her two brothers RC Hancock and Roy Hancock, both of Groves. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves Sunday November 15, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday November 16, 2015 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
