Mary Bien

Mary H. Bien, nee Heafner, 65, of Belleville, Ill., born March 29, 1947, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Mrs. Bien was a courtesy clerk at Shop 'N Save Grocery Store, Belleville, Ill.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Bien; two sons, Kyle and Edward Bien, both in infancy; and her father, Edward Heafner.

Surviving are two daughters, Amanda "Mandy" Bien and Kristina "Kris" Bien, both of Belleville, Ill.; one granddaughter, Kaleigh Bien; her mother, Helen, nee Jakes, Heafner of Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Frank (Donna) Heafner of Belleville, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012, the funeral home for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Monsignor David Darin officiating. Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
