John Fath Obituary
John D. Fath Sr., 53, born on May 6, 1960, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Dec. 1, 2013.
John was an avid motorcycle rider who always smiled. He worked as a mechanic for JD Byrider and was a kind hearted and gentle man who loved kids. John was a passive person with a "live and let live" attitude. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Fath and Dorothy, nee Brown, Fath; and a niece, Mary.
Surviving are his wife, Myra; a son, John D. Fath Jr.; his sisters, Fran Hall of Missouri, Cathy Kohlberg of Belleville, Ill., Cyndi (Mike) Nolen of Missouri and Lori (Tim) Reagan of Belleville, Ill.; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorials in John's memory are appreciated to the Belleville Area Humane Society or a no kill shelter of the donor's choice. Please express condolences at www.lakeviewfuneralhm.com.
Visitation: Friends may call for a memorial visitation from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Service will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at the funeral home.

John - What a genuine,honest and giving person.He would be willing to help you any way he could and always with sincerity and friendship whether it was a day,a decade or any amount of time in between since you last spoke.
