Matthew Szewczyk Obituary
Matthew P. Szewczyk, 37, of Belleville, Ill., born Feb. 20, 1979, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Memorial Hospital.
Matthew will always be remembered as a kind, good-hearted person who was always willing to help others. He loved cooking and his job as a school bus driver.
Mr. Szewczyk was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne, nee Head, Szewczyk; his grandparents, Matt and Olga Szewczyk, Phillip and Kathleen Head, and Myrtle Allscheid; and his uncles, Phillip Head and William Biver.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Frank (Diane) Szewczyk of Red Bud, Ill; a sister, Andrea Jackson of Belleville, Ill.; a step-brother, Keith (Jill) Singleton and their children, Ty and Kiana Singleton; five uncles, James Szewczyk of St. Leonard, Md. and Charles (Molly) Head of Windsor, Calif., Kenneth (Mary) Allscheid of Colorado, Robert (Linda) Allscheid of Waterloo, Ill., and Dennis (Jean) Allscheid of Waterloo, Ill.; seven aunts, Carole Biver of Belton, Mo., Michelle (Nick) Geibel of Belleville, Vicky Loefer of Belleville, Marsha Head of Belleville, Kathy Head of Belleville, Beverly Brede of Belleville, and Gladys Glenn of Belleville; a niece, Riley Jackson; and two nephews, James and Trace Jackson; and many cousins.

RIP now Matthew, Jeannie's baby boy is with her now. I will miss you and mostly the daily texting we shared. It had become part of my time with you. But knowing you are no longer in pain consoles me. I love ya baby!!!
