Charles Wonderling Obituary

Charles Edward Wonderling 67, died in his home on February 9th, 2011. He was born in Ringold Township, Pennsylvania on August 30, 1942 to John and Mary Wonderling. He grew up in Titusville, Pennsylvania after graduating from high school. After high school, Charles entered into the Navy where he earned his career as a plumber. During his working career, he worked for and eventually retired from Western Washington University. Charles was an active member of Northwest Community Church and the American Legion Post 86 in Blaine, WA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances L.; brother, John R. Jr. and his parents. Charles is survived by his brother, Richard E. Wonderling of Oil City, PA.; sisters, Cathryn A. Young of Gloucester, VA., Elaine R. Hallberg of Spartansburg, PA., and Dorothy J. Burrows of Titusville, PA. Memorial contributions may be given in his name to the Whatcom Hospice 2800 Douglas Ave. Bellingham, WA 98225 or the Northwest Community Church 508 G. St. Blaine, WA 98230. Graveside services will be officiated by Rev. Al Currier and held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery 409 Filbert Rd. Lynnwood, WA. I was so saddened to hear about Chuck's passing. His face always lit up when I'd see him at the Legion and say "Yo Chuckie!". His quiet demure and warm smile will definitely be missed. Rest in peace my friend....
