Agustina Reta Obituary

On June 5, 2011, Agustina Reta's final prayer request was answered as she quietly passed to her Heavenly Home. She was born August 20, 1933 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Ramon and Alvina Perez. Having a homemaker's heart, Agustina enjoyed sewing and gardening. An active church member, her faith was very important to her. Preceded in death by her husband, Jose Reta and daughter Amelia Gonzales; Agustina is survived by her children: Jose M. (Berta), Idolina (Enrique), Ramon (Elizabeth), Sulema (Antonio), Leida (Michael) and Viola; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation hours are scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 5 to 8 pm at Gillies Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 10, 11:00 am in Gillies Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Nooksack Cemetery. MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. TIA TINA WAS SUCH A GREAT PERSON AND I HAVE GREAT MEMORIES OF HER COMING TO VISIT US IN TEXAS. A WOMAN OF SUCH GREAT FAITH AND LOVE WILL BE MISSED. LOVE YOU TIA, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR OUR FAMILY.
