Sherry A. Edwards

Sherry A. Edwards, age 58, of Camano Island, WA went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Born in Bellingham, WA on July 18, 1952 to Glen and Alice (Lyons) Utecht, Sherry grew up in the Everson area and was a 1971 graduate of Nooksack Valley High School. Her mothering nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family camping. Sherry attended Christ the King Church. On July 10, 1993 Sherry married Mark Edwards in Blaine at Peace Arch Park. Preceded in death by her father, Glen Utecht; aunt Velva Deide and grandmother, Lyda Lyons; Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Mark; daughters Terri (Jon) DeYoung, Angie Frakes, Kelly Frakes and Breana Edwards; grandchildren Payton and Logan DeYoung; mother, Alice Utecht; brothers, Jimmy and Kenny Utecht; sisters, Linda (Ron) Magnason, Cathy (Randy) Davis and Karen (Glen) Blankers and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by father and mother-in-law, Michael and Anne Edwards. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 2, 1:00 pm at Nooksack Cemetery on Breckenridge Road in Nooksack.
