Elisa Kjobmand Collins

After a four year battle with colon cancer, Elisa passed away May 15th in her home in Bellingham, Washington with her family at her side. She was 55 years old. Elisa grew up in Oakland, CA and attended Skyline High School. She has two beautiful sons, Ari and Olin from her first marriage to Bob Landrum. Elisa married Brad Collins in 1989 and they moved to Bellingham. She loved her job and co-workers at OMS. She was an avid marathon runner and triathlete. Elisa was the daughter of Anita Mae Lawson of Dillon Beach, CA and Hans Kjobmand of Denmark. The granddaughter of Walter and Nita Lawson of Dillon Beach, CA and loved daughter in law of Richard and Christine Collins. Elisa is survived by her devoted husband Brad and sons Ari and Olin. Her sisters: Marianna, Patty, and Jeanette. Brother-in-laws: Wes and John. Niece and nephews: Sarah, Gabe and Julian. Elisa will be deeply missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 S. Harbor Loop, Bellingham on June 11 at 11am. Another gathering will be held on the afternoon of August 8th in Dillon Beach, CA.
