Kevin Joel VanDyk passed away Sunday March 13th. Born March 29th 1960 in Bellingham, Kevin graduated 1978 from Meridian High School where he played football, wrestled and was Home Coming King his senior year. Kevin worked at Rauch Dairy Farm , also as a security guard and for various concrete contractors as a finisher until his health issues took over. Kevin lived in the Starry Road neighborhood most of his life until recently moving to Bellingham. Preceded in death by his mother Adele, he is survived by his father Jack, sister Janine (Mike) Bergeron, brother Don, nephew Chase and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and special friends Loretta, Lisa , Terry, John and the Harkness family, his best friends who helped him through life's course. Kevin was a friend to all and especially enjoyed children and his animals. Little Brother the pain and suffering is over and now you can Rest. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association and Mt. Baker Kidney Center. At Kevin's request there will be no service. I will always remember tiny for his kind and giving personality. He judged no-one.He made going to school just a little more fun!

Tiny was "the man" at Meridian. He could bench press a gazillion pounds !! Many, many good memories from high school & football and even before that going all the way back to riding our bicycles and raising heck on the Starry Rd with the Amos boys. You'll be missed brother...RIP

Kevin (Tiny) was a funny, sweet, generous person. He was always there to lend a hand if you need him. He was a great friend with a wonderful sense of humor and a bright smile. We we always remember him & we will miss him so much. He will always be in our hearts. Our prayer are with the Van Dyk family. Tiny, say "hi" to Scottie for us.
