Lori Kimber Obituary

3/25/65 to 2/12/2011 Lori was taken upon the wings of an angel to heaven on Feb. 12th. Lori was a kind and warmhearted person who truly loved and cared for everyone in her life. She was a one in a million mother who no one will ever be able to replace. Lori loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family and watching NASCAR. Lori was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Lori is survived by her mother Lila Johnson and father Clarence Kimber, Sisters Heather and Tammy, Brother Ryan, sister-in-law Carrie, daughters Ashley and Lexie, Son-in-law James, grandchildren AIishiah, Issabellah, Dawson, Matthew and an unborn granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on April 2nd 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Greenacres chapel. (5700 NW Drive). A memorial fund has been set up at Key Bank under Lori Kimber memorial fund to assist in final expenses.

Ashley and Lexi,
I am so sorry for your loss. I too, know how hard it is to lose your mom so young. Lori was so supportive to me during that time of my life, words cannot express how much that meant to me. I will ALWAYS cherish the memories your mom, Tammy and I made together! We shared many, many laughs! I am looking forward to meeting Lori's beautiful daughters next week. You all have been in my prayers since I've heard the news.

Ashley and Lexi,
I am so sorry for your loss. I too,know how hard it is to lose your mom early in your life. Your mom was so supportive to me during that time in my life. I will ALWAYS cherish all the fun memories your mom, Tammy and I created!! We shared many, many laughs together!! I am looking forward to meeting Lori's beautiful daughters next week. Lor was a wonderful person and a great friend. Lori had worked together many years ago at Fred Meyer in Bellingham. We were the best of friends. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She will be missed! My condolences to both Ashley and Lexie. Thank you Ashley for getting in touch with me.

I have MANY MANY wonderful memories of Lori, she was my bestfriends mom.. I felt loved and accpected and safe around her. One memory that really sticks out to me is on Christmas EVE day I drove off with Ashley's wallet on my car.. There was money and checks and everything in it... I remember being so upset and shaking and yes everything was found thankfully but she saw the look on my face and she saw how upset I was and she took me into her arms and I lost it. I was shaking and I burst into tears and just hugged me until I calmed down.. It was touching and I really loved her!

I hope in the future that the lessons she taught me in those young hard years stand out.. I owe her alot!
