Sarah Partlow Obituary

Sarah Ann (Marshall) Partlow, age 31, of Lynden went home to dance in the fields of Heaven with the Lord Tuesday March 6th, 2012, after complications from Lymphangiomatosis. She was born in Hayes Kansas and moved with her family to Salem, OR at age 10.
Sarah graduated from North Salem High School in 1999. She was a devout Catholic and at age 19 traveled around the US with Reach Catholic Ministries based out of Yakima WA. In 2001, Sarah attended Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls, OR, where she studied Nuclear Medicine Imaging. There she met Kenneth (Reid) Partlow, whom she started dating in January of 2002. After school, they married in August 2005 and moved to Lynden, where they eventually bought a home and started attending Grace Baptist Fellowship and Assumption Catholic Church. She took a job with Mt. Baker Imaging where she held several positions, most recently as an Administrative Assistant and Purchasing Clerk.
Despite having a life-long lymph disease that caused her considerable struggles, Sarah never complained nor let her discomfort slow her down from living a full life.
She loved everything Disney, doing crafts, making cards and giving gifts. She was an extremely gifted organizer, planner and hostess, and was always ready with the perfect snack. With smiles, jokes and laughter, she worked hard to show others her love. She will be remembered for her sweetness, faith, wisdom and unending devotion to her Lord.
Sarah is survived by her husband Reid Partlow, parents Kevin & Jo Marshall, brother David Marshall, his wife Liliana, sister Amanda Marshall, parents-in-law Ken & Jeannette Partlow, brother-in-law Ryan Partlow, his wife Lindsey, brother-in-law Cameron Partlow, grandparents Ted & Jeanette Cummings, Ken & Saditha Marshall, Paul & Ruth Benedict, many cousins, niece Maggie, nephew Benjamin, and Godchildren Natalie, Everett and Adele whom she adored and doted on as if they were her own children, as well as many friends. She will be missed immensely.
Her life will be celebrated at a Mass, Monday March 12 at 10:30 AM at Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham WA, followed by a graveside service at Ten Mile Cemetery at 12 PM and a memorial service later that day at Grace Baptist Fellowship at 6 PM in Lynden WA, with snacks following.

The twinkle in your eyes as you smiled will never fade in my heart. You were very loved dearest Sarah. You are still my superstar. I loved having you in my life. You taught me so much in such a little time. I will never forget you. I am sad that we both got busy and grew apart. Thank you for sharing 2 years on reach with me and then being a bridesmaid in my wedding. I have been truely blessed to call you my friend. I will do good works in your name because I feel that is what would make you smile from heaven. Thank you Jesus for the precious gift you gave us in Sarah. May her love live in our hearts.

Dear Reid,
After reading Sarah's Obituary, I realize that I didn't know her very well but I loved her. She was always so friendly and sweet at church.
I didn't realize all of her health struggles and we are so sorry that your life together was so short.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
