To Scott's family: I wish for you peace and healing. Scott's kindness, wit, and easy smile were just a part of this great guy.
All kinds of wonderful memories of him. Discussing vampires one day, he told me I'd love "From Dusk Til Dawn". Still do, and I think of him every time. Mt. Baker Theatre's showing of the newly colorized version of "Gone With the Wind" with my daughters & I. His theory that the best food to be found if you're new in town is more than likely the bowling alley. He officiated a wedding of friends of mine 11 years ago in a very fun & unique way.
You will be missed by so many, Ace. I know you'll find a way to have fun, no matter where you are!

It was with heavy hearts that we received the news about Scott. Scott worked for us back in the early nineties. What started off as a group of kids working at a newly opened restaurant quickly turned into a close knit group of friends. Scott was an important part of that friendship. With his big smile and sense of humor, Scott made coming to work fun for the whole crew. He will be missed by so many.
We are so sorry for your loss.

I cannot begin to express the grief in my heart at the loss of Scott.
He was a part of so many firsts; experiences and memories that I kept with me throughout my life.
The first time I flew on an airplane, it was with Scott, to Anchorage, AK.
He was so reassuring when I was so nervous. Every time I have ever flown since then, I keep in mind what said to me to on that very first flight; It always lessens my nerves.
I went to my first concert with Scott and Jamie. It was Phil Collins at the Tacoma Dome. The night of that concert, Phil Collins was donating a portion of the proceeds to charity for the homeless. After the concert, Scott has a little money in his pocket and as we were leaving, he broke away from the group. Both Jamie and I asked him where he was going. Without hesitation, he said he was giving all his cash to the charity because nobody should be homeless in a country that is so rich.
That was the first time someone had ever really made me think about a social cause.
My love of large gatherings and group events comes from Scott's ability to come up with and coordinate all aspects of games. Scavenger hunting throughout the city, Murder Mysteries, etc. (all firsts for me).
I read on one of his blogs where he stated that he was good with kids and animals. I remember how he used to sing to Ashley when she was a baby. He would sing her "C is for Cookie" and she smiled and laughed everytime!
My condolences not only to Scott's family, but to everyone that has ever known Scott, as his loss will be felt by everyone that spent any time with him.
