NAHANT, MA Mr. Dexter R. "Dutch" Shultz, age 82, died peacefully on Monday at his home after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late June C. (Clark) Shultz. Born in Bennington, VT, he was the son of the late Dexter G. and Lillian (Brundage) Shultz. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife. He had his private pilots license and owned and restored his own plane, a 1942 Stinson, which he flew almost to the end of his life. In his younger years, he was involved in scouting and youth sports programs with his children. Dexter was a mentor to many and will be lovingly remembered by his family as a true jack-of-all-trades and the go-to person when something needed to be done. He was a proud Vermonter, and was most at peace spending time with his family, or at his home in Vermont. Dexter was a member of the Nahant Lions Club as well as the Knights of Columbus.
