Bryan H. Berti 1959 - 2008 CHESHIRE Bryan H. Berti, 48, of 46 Outlook Ave., formerly of Adams, died Wednesday, July 9, at his home after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 9, 1959, a son of the late Harry J. and Carol Jaeschke Berti, he was educated in Cheshire schools and was a 1977 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School. Mr. Berti was a chef for Canyon Ranch in Lenox where he had worked for 10 years before retiring in 1998 due to ill health. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter. He leaves his daughter, Anna Berti of Adams, and a brother, Bruce C. Berti, and his wife, Aime, of Cheshire. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Bryan H. Berti, who died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, will be Saturday, July 12, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Cheshire with Pastor Rick Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Berti may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire, MA 01225.
