Edwin Kulas

Edwin Joseph Kulas 1926-2010 Edwin was a native of Berkshire County. After serving his country in World War II, he began his career as a machinist for General Electric. He continued his 35 years of service with G.E. in Louisiana and retired to Florida with his loving wife Betty. A Veteran's Memorial Service will be held on November 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Fla. He is survived by his wife Betty, sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Sally Kulas of Dalton, Michael and Jeanne Miner of Jupiter, Fla.; son, James Miner, Tyringham, son, Tim Miner, Stuart, Fla., daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Peter Nichols of Pittsfield, Mary and Pat Dedon of Golden Meadow, La. Seven grandchildren, Brian, Daniel, Scott, Stacy, Melissa, Dylan and Emma, four great-grandchildren Logan, Jonah, Lilly and Thomas, his sisters, Vicky, Daisy, Isabel and a brother, Johnny. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Adam and Eleanor Kulas, son, Tom Miner and brothers, John, Matthew, Casey, Chester, Bruno, and Edward. Edwin loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. Throughout his life, he had a great passion for gardening and it gave him so much joy to put smiles on the faces of those who shared his harvest. Edwin was a wonderful man and he will forever be deeply missed and loved by all of us.
