Asiyanna Jones-Eurquhart Obituary
She was born in Augusta, Georgia on June 7, 1995, the daughter of Shanay Jones and Michael Eurquhart Sr. From the age of 2, she was raised in Pittsfield, MA, where she attended Crosby Elementary, Reid Middle School, and graduated from Pittsfield High in 2013.
Yanna had a passion for make-up and fashion, and loved her job as a child care worker at the local YMCA. She was also recently employed by Hillcrest Educational Center. Yanna's life was spent mentoring young children, shopping, spending time with her close friends, and loving and supporting her family. Among many other things, Yanna will always be remembered for her beautiful eyes, her captivating smile, and her warm and loving soul.
Yanna leaves behind a large and loving family, including her mother, Shanay Jones, her father, Michael Eurquhart Sr., and Jerome Chappelle.
Funeral notice: Public calling hours for Asiyanna Shanay Jones Eurquhart will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA. The funeral and burial will be private.

Yanna grew up very mature and stood with a positive attitude. So soft spoken which drew me closer to her whenever she was around. A smile that'll brighten a room in just a second. My last memory with her was at a friends cookout in Harlem with LaNese and Champy which ended as kareoke night. A Drama free night filled with absolutely nothing but laughter left us at such peace amongst each other, that was the kind of company Asiyanna was when she's around. Her heart was pure, a great soul on earth makes an even better angel in Heaven. She will be missed, welcome to paradise Asiyanna. Sending my condolences to the entire Eurquhart family. Amber
