Eric Latimer Obituary
1982-2013 PITTSFIELD Eric H. Latimer III, 30, of 207 South Mt. Rd., died at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday July 26, 2013 after battling melanoma.
He was born in Pittsfield on Decemebr 22, 1982, son of Eric H. Latimer Jr. and the late Regina K. Demary. He was a 2001 graduate of Taconic High School.
He had, at one time worked at Guido's Market, by trade he was a bike and ski technician, working some years ago at Christie Sports in Colorado and most recently at Plaine's Bike Ski & Snowboard in Pittsfield. He enjoyed skiing, golf, going to concerts and was a fan of the Red Sox.
Besides his father, Eric H. Latimer Jr and his wife Kim of North Port , FL he also leaves a sister; Erin Latimer and her boyfriend, Daniel Cimini of Pittsfield; his fiance; Megan Blessing of Pittsfield and his beloved dog Lincoln. His paternal grandparents; Eric H. Latimer Sr. and his wife Beverly of Richmond and his maternal grandmother; Kathleen Demary of Pittsfield and many aunts,uncles and cousins.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Eric H. Latimer III,30, who died July 26, 2013 will be Private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the future Berkshire Medical Center Cancer Center in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME 54 Bradford St. 01201.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know him, my grandson had a wrist band on with Eric's name on it. Maybe they met somewhere. My grandson Mike passed Aug. 6, 2013.

Dear Rick, Erin, and Family,
I am so sorry for all of you, for you (and we) have lost a gentle and caring soul. I will always remember my time with him at Richmond School, where his kindness, politeness, and gentleness were recognized by all of us. And I watched as, over his young years, his grandfather developed in Eric an over-the-top love for skiing. Rick, your love for skiing was truly infectious and I will always know that you gifted Eric with your time, love, and enthusiasm in such a way that this winter sport became an important part of Eric's future life. Eric, for me, was the complete package. I watched a shy young boy grow into a confident and active young man who managed to also embrace life in a caring and loving way. We have lost a very special person, to be sure. My love to all of you.
