Jimmy was a good friend to my parents, Bill and Lula Burton. I remember the many golf tournaments they played and some of the stories Daddy told about the plane rides.
I know you have many good memories.

Jean: What a great man and what a great life! I can still recall flying with Jimmy and my father Buddy up to Florence to pick you up one day back in the fifties. We've all come a long way since then. Carolyn and I have you, Jimmy, Mary Katherine, and Elizabeth in our thoughts and prayers.

My prayers are with the family in your great loss. Mr. Hinton was a very kind gentleman who helped more disabled and ill hunters than anyone in history. We will surely miss him.
