Hazel Pace Obituary

SALUDA-Hazel "Beth" Pace, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, after a brief illness. Beth was born on October 1, 1946 in Fayettville, NC., to Edith Stepp Douglas and the late Ross Douglas.
She had spent most of her life raising her family in Saluda, NC. She relocated less then a year ago to be closer to her oldest son in Roebuck, SC.
Beth is survived by her three children Scott Pace of Roebuck, SC,. Clint Pace of Columbus, NC., and Tisha Davis of Hendersonville, NC., and their spouses; 7 Grandchildren; and 3 siblings Ann Stuart, Virginia Stanley, and Charles Douglas all of Saluda, NC.;
She was preceeded in death by her husband David Pace.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Thos. Shepherd and Son Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC. A Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Saluda City Cemetery in Saluda, NC. Beth's children and their families will gather after the service at the home of Clint Pace, 1680 – Lynn Road Columbus, NC.

So sorry for your loss. I remember Beth being a very sweet person. One of my fondest memories is a bunch of us girls spent the night over with Tisha and the next morning we woke up to fresh home made huge cinnamon rolls. Best cinnamon rolls I ever had. Praying for you all. It's so hard to lose a mother. With God's help it will get better.
