Dabney Brown Obituary

HENDERSONVILLE-Dabney Barnes Brown died peacefully Friday, May 1st, 2015 in Hendersonville, N.C. Born March 31st, 1932 in Columbia, S.C. to the late Evander Ervin Brown and Elizabeth Barnes Brown. In addition to his parents, Dabney was predeceased by his first wife of 46 years, Raye Tischler Brown, and their two infant sons.
He graduated from Columbia High School, served four years in the United States Air Force, and he retired from the town of Surfside Beach after 20 years of service.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina Huddle Brown and her son, James Tyler; his sister, Diana Brown Pinckney and her husband, Francis Morris Pinckney; father-in-law, Jesse Huddle and his wife, Carol; sisters-in-law, Tammy Huddle, Maria Huddle McGee and her husband, James; and numerous adored nieces and nephews.
All of his life, Dabney loved his pet dogs and cats and all God's creatures. He opened his big, generous heart to everyone.
