Matthew Tidwell Obituary

Matthew Farrar Tidwell, born Nov. 15, 1984, in New Jersey, passed away Jan. 24 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis.
Matthew was raised in White Hall, Ark., where he attended school and was a member of Family Church. In 2005, he moved to Boonville, Mo. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a Christian who enjoyed fellowship with the Lord and with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He always had a smile on his face which enlightened people no matter the circumstances. Matthew loved all types of music, but he was especially fond of praise and worship music.
Survivors include his father, Robert (Bob) Farrer Tidwell of Pilot Grove, two sisters-Nikolle Ard of Arkansas, and Mia Tidwell of Texas; one brother-Montgomery Tidwell of California; nieces and nephews-Katherine, Daniel, and Corey Ard of Arkansas and Kyla Cagle of Texas; and many more nieces and nephews; Landon Wiley from Moberly, who was like a son to Matthew, and longtime friend and caregiver, Betty Claycomb of Pilot Grove. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Green Tidwell on Jan. 2, 2007.
Memorial services for Matthew Tidwell will be at Open Bible Praise Center in Boonville, Mo., on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Randy Richards officiating. Matthew donated his body to the University Hospital for research to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Mathew a few times, however I remember him always smiling and full of life. My thoughts go out to his friends and family, for i know he will be greatly missed !!
