Dear Anne and Mike
Your mom was a sweet, kind, caring, and loving person, who ALWAYS made everyone feel like they were part of The McAuliffe Family. We are all truly blessed to have had her in our lives.
I remember the yearly 4th of July cookouts spent in Milton with Mom and Dad and the entire McAuliffe Family - love them all - to the different birthday parties and other family gatherings spent in Randolph and later in Duxbury. Your Mom was always there to lend a hand and always put others before herself. Such a kind and loving soul !!
The epitomy of a true Nana - she loved her grandchildren Gerard, Kelly, and Anna with all of her heart and all of her soul.
Anne you are like a sister to me and George like a brother. Always have been and always will be !!! Rest assure knowing that Mom is up in heaven and is finally re-united with the love of her life Gerry and of course my pal Uncle Dan - two guys I loved and respected and two guys I truly miss.
The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, was say goodbye to my Mom. Twenty-six years have passed since that dreadful day and in all that time, not one day goes by that I don't think of her. You will do the same Anne. You will do the same...
Your Mom, like my Mom, will live on in all of us, and will forever be a part of our fabric, and for that we are extremely blessed.
Rest in Peace Mrs McAuliffe.. Rest in Peace Mom. Love you both !!! Please continue to watch over all of us until we meet again..
