My best friend. Partner in crime. The one who was constantly there for me whenever I needed. Words can not describe how much I miss seeing your bright eyes and glowing smile everyday. My deepest condolences to the Dunne family.
I knew Casey through working in the Achieve tutoring program with her. From day one she knew exactly what she was doing and never looked out of place. The Achieve students wanted to sit next to her for breakfast and lunch, and she easily built connections with those whom she worked with. Casey wore onesies for school pajama day and always said what she thought. She was brave, funny, and incredibly well-liked. It has been over two months but I cannot forget Casey, who reveled in the gift of life.

To the Dunne family and Nobles community,
I am so sorry about your devastating loss this past week. Only hearing about Casey this Saturday and only seeing the picture of her with the American flag is not enough to know her, but I do know that from that picture that Casey is a beautiful, spirited girl that anyone would be lucky to even meet just once.
As a member of the Newton Country Day School community, I have experienced a similar experience with a classmate of mine passing suddenly this past winter. I know, to some extent, what you might be feeling, but I will never feel exactly what you all feel. I just hope you know you are in my thoughts and prayers and that Casey is a gorgeous angel who will continue to touch your lives.

I was a Counselor in Training at Lochearn Camp for Girls with Casey. Even though we only spent four weeks together, I loved every second of it. Four weeks may not seem like much, but the bond created in that time is everlasting. My favorite memory with Casey was going on a hike with her. I was in a hiking group with her and a couple other of our friends and it was one of the best experiences of my life. When going up the mountain we shared laughs, made jokes, and got to know one another better. On the way back down the mountain we did the same until it started to rain. We walked in a comfortable silence, helping one another climb over rocks, avoid puddles, and dodge roots. In that moment we were all connected and one. We all knew that we could depend on each other no matter what obstacle we were faced with. Casey Dunne will forever be missed and never forgotten.

I meet Casey my second year at Lochearn. She helped teach me how to water ski. I got really nervous and she told me to believe in myself and that I could do it and I did. I will always remember her positive,supportive and cheerful attitude. RIP Casey.

I was one of Casey's classmates when we were both freshmen at Noble and Greenough School. I remember that year on Halloween I went onstage to play the piano in front of the entire Nobles community.
I never had much confidence in myself, so that morning I didn't like how my performance sounded. I thought that everyone only liked to hear more talented, more professional-sounding pianists perform onstage. I felt that no one would want to listen to an amateur who quit taking lessons years ago.
When I walked into English class that afternoon my classmates, including Casey, said that I gave an amazing performance and that I was a great pianist. I remember that Casey walked up to me and asked if I was going to play piano for the community again anytime soon. I was so touched by her words that every time I saw Casey I always remembered her positivity and kindness.
I will never forget Casey and her kind words. Today I recorded myself playing a new piece on the piano and dedicated it to her. I will play for the Nobles community again someday.
Casey made a huge impression at Nobles and we are all devastated. For now, this is all I can say: "Thank you, Casey, for all the bright smiles, joy, and unforgettable memories you gave to me and to the Nobles community as a whole." We will always love and miss you dearly.
