HOWARD L. HILL

HILL, Howard L. 89 years old, passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 30, 2018. Born and raised in Silverton, Colorado and longtime resident of West Roxbury. He is predeceased by his 6 siblings and his beloved wife of 60 years, Jean F. Hill. Howard was a Navy veteran, active during the Korean War, serving on the USS Shangri-La and the USS Bairoko. Retired math teacher at Needham High School. Survived by his children: Margaret Maider of Shrewsbury, Howard and Lisa Hill of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Jean and Douglas Burks of Norfolk, and Nancy and Steven Goldblatt of West Roxbury. Cherished grandfather of Caroline, Alexandra, Emma, Jake, Jessica, Jenna, and Aidan. Relatives and friends invited to attend the funeral service at Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 12 noon.
