Dear Sheila and everyone. Jerry Spike just contacted me. I am out of the country and feel so sorry that I couldn't be there... I would have gone anywhere for you and your family. Fran was a great friend and mentor. I owe much of my career to him and his guidance. Please know that i will always be here to help you and your children and grandchildren if there is ever anything I can do. Again, I am so sorry that I wasn't there to comfort you and pay my respects. Much love, Susan

Dear Sheila, some of my fondest memories are of you and Fran during our time at MHS. Occassionally I hear Ernie Ford's "Sixteen Tons" and smile, remembering how Fran loved that song. I wish for you the comfort of memories. Donna

Dear Sheila and family, and Ed and Marie and families -
I am so sorry to read of Franny's passing. I was older than he but always regarded him as a sweet boy - always so friendly and smiling. My mother and his were very close friends (attending the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help each week in Roxbury) - as were my brother, Peter and Joe (childhood/adult friends) and my brother Bob and Ed - the same - friends from youth through adulthood. So, you can see, our families were very close in those Medford years. Franny was the 'baby' in the Morelli family, a family always so well regarded in the church, community, college and beyond. I know Franny's family is so very proud of their Dad and his many successes throughout his life. I send my deepest sympathies to you all as I recall those wonderful halcyon years in Medford. May Franny's soul, and all the souls of all the family members departed, rest in the peace of his loving Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. There are joy and merriment in the Halls of Heaven at Franny's arrival!! With much love and sweet remembrances to all -

Sheila- How many wonderful memories I have of you and Frannie. It has been years since we've been in touch, but I think of you often. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this time of great loss. May the Lord sustain you with His grace.

Dear Sheila, I am remembering the time Franny took you to a football game and you asked him why the referee had thrown his handkerchief on the ground. May this and countless other beautiful memories sustain you. With much love and sadness . Warmest hugs to you and to your family, Barbara

So sorry to hear this sad news. Fran was my closest friend growing up in Medford through grammar school and junior high. He was like my big brother and protector even though I was slightly older. One of my fondest memories of Franny is that he was always being questioned about his age when we went to movies, events, etc. that allowed you in free or at a reduced price if you were under 12. He started carrying an ID (birth certificate) when he was 10.
Lots of wonderful memories of his parents, brothers and sister. May he rest in peace.

I would like to express my sincere thoughts of sympathy to the family of Fran Morelli.
I met Fran, when we both worked from the Boston office of Schenley. Frannie was the epitome of class and fairness.
May he rest in peace.

My heart aches as I express my sympathy to all who mourn, to those who cherish sweet memories and celebrate the life of Frannie and his love of family and friends. I remember trips with my Mom and Dad to his childhood home in Medford and the happy times there, our heart felt connection that stayed strong even when we moved far away. I rejoice for our time together at Marie's home, with Joe and Eddie there, not so long ago, such a wonderful afternoon. May faith sustain you and love surround you, now and always, Donna Marie and Burky
